Daria Scagliola (1962) en Stijn Brakkee (1962), architectuurfotografen die sinds 1990 samenwerken omdat ze elkaar op artistiek en technisch gebied aanvullen en scherp houden.Hun kracht ligt vooral in het vertalen van architectonische en stedenbouwkundige plannen naar aantrekkelijke fotografie. De opgeleverde fotoseries laten niet alleen het plan goed zien, maar ook de intentie en het gebruik ervan. Projecten van Stijn en Daria reiken van het Instituut voor Beeld & Geluid in Hilversum, tot villa’s in Bergen en het supervisorplan voor IJburg.

Daria Scagliola (1962) and Stijn Brakkee (1962), architectural photographers who started their cooperation in 1990. Their lasting collaboration is successful due to their joint ambition to combine artistic and technically high end reports of almost any plan or project. Their strength lies in translating architectural and urban plans into powerful and attractive photography. Their reports not only make the plan look good, but also convincingly show it’s purpose and how people respond to it. Projects by Stijn and Daria reach from the Institute for Sound & Vision in Hilversum , to private villas and the extension plan of Amsterdam, known as IJburg.
